For the central region comprising of the states of Madhya Pradesh and  Chhattisgarh, the NMPB, vide its letter F.No. A-11019/04/2016-NMPB-III dated 21st August,2017 approved the proposal of State Forest Research Institute, Jabalpur to establish RCFC in the institute campus. RCFC Central Region has started functioning from the campus of State Forest Research Institute, Jabalpur.
